Otway Estate's cafe / restaurant is open 7 days for lunch, evening meals on Saturday night and an all day breakfast available on weekends.

Group bookings of 20 or more ... we'll open specially for you - any night.

Sample menu ...

Platter

  • Prunes stuffed with fetta & walnut, wrapped in streaky bacon and roasted.

  • Venison salami with quince and tamarind chutney

  • Marinated & grilled fillet of kangaroo with mushroom pate

  • Chickpea stew cooked with sweet spices topped with horseradish cream

  • Shredded Asian vegetable salad with toasted coconut, fried shallots & sesame

  • Sausage rolls filled with bacon & eggplant with our tomato sauce

  • Show River buffalo cheese wrapped around marjoram pesto and roasted capsicum

Cheese Platter

  • Assorted local and house made cheese and pastes served with crackers and crisp bread

Linguine                                                              

  • Linguine tossed through a tomato, red wine, Spanish onion and bay sauce with tiger prawns and spinach, topped with parmesan, flash fried squid & aioli.

Kangaroo & Porterhouse

  • Porterhouse & balsamic and mirin marinated kangaroo, grilled and served on house bread, candied onion, roast mixed vegetables and fired egg with a rocket and red capsicum salad & our homemade tomato sauce

Squid & Scallops

  • Flash fried squid rings & grilled scallops served with salad of bok choy, sesame and carrot, Vietnamese mint, coriander, fried shallots and yellow plum sauce

Dessert

  • Orange poppy seed cake with orange sauce

  • Carrot and walnut cake with quince paste

  • Chocolate, almond and date torte

  • Blossom (coffee, pear & brazil nut) cake with coffee cream

  • Mary Stewart Baxter plum pudding with balsamic raisins & strawberries
